28 May 2004 I think about you each and every day and wish I could have met you in person. I feel I know you in my heart and that I am the embodiment of your spirit. You would be very proud of your two grandsons. They are beautiful boys and definitely have Perrin blood in them! As they get older, I will make sure they learn all about their Grandpa Perrin through relatives' stories, photos, and mementoes. A Note from The Virtual Wall The skies of South Vietnam were crowded, particularly near helicopter bases where numerous aircraft were operating at relatively low altitudes. On 27 June 1966, two UH-1 Hueys from different units lifted off from Tuy Hoa North airfield in Phu Yen Province. UH-1B 64-14047 took off on a northwest heading, while UH-1B 65-09486 took off on a westerly heading and then made a right turn to a northwest heading.
