Even if I never got a chance to ever meet my great-uncle, I will always love him. My grandmother loved him and tells stories about how they used to play with each other. I bet he was great at his job during the war. My grandmother misses him very much. Sitting here looking at his badges, I hope he is watching over us.

James Moreland was one of ten Americans killed, captured, or missing after the fall of the Lang Vei Special Forces Camp during the 1968 Tet Offensive. They were

    • SP5 William G. McMurray (Silver Star)

The remains of Sergeants Hanna and Lindewald were repatriated on 15 Jan 2004 and positive identification announced on 08 Sep 2004; see SFC Hanna's memorial or Mr. Jacobs' site for further information.
