Always remembering one of the finest Pilots with whom I had the privilege to fly.
From a friend, |
What I would like to say about David is that my grandfather was in the war with him and his name is Nick Grube and I watched a film in school on the Wall and they showed his name and his sister Sheila and I think that it is very nice of people who are there for David and who are there for his family. Well, I think that is all I have to say. My name is Kayla Dakin and I'm 11 years old and go to the Raynham Middle School.
From a friend's granddaughter, |
I remember.

My father was the pilot in the crash that Captain David Head died in.
From the daughter of a pilot, |
I will say to Captain Head, I remember the day well. I was on the radios May God bless them all!

David was my uncle through marriage. Even though I did not know him, his service did have an impact on my life. I have been a helicopter crew chief and mechanic in the Army for 12 years. I am scheduled to go to flight school in January. Thank you for your posts!
