IF TEARS COULD BUILD A STAIRWAY
AND MEMORIES A LANE,
I'D WALK RIGHT UP TO HEAVEN
TO BE WITH YOU AGAIN ...

Thank you for your bravery - you are a true hero. I was only 8 years old when God took you and now I'm 42 and I missed having my brother in my life. But I know you are the guardian angel that watches over me and my children.

You are always in my heart, my sweet brother.
I love you ...

Your little sister,
Maryann

To my brave uncle Frankie,

I never had the honor of meeting you but I always knew you were a brave man from my mom. I carry your medals in the Memorial Day parade. My mom gave me your name as a gift and I am proud to be like you. I look up at you and I know you look down on me, guiding me. I love you.

The tear drops of pain drift away into the wind
I hear your calls to me when I am weak
You help me up when I fall
I look to you for confidence in my life
Vietnam was a really hard war to fight
But you surpassed it, you overcame all odds
The war is over but now you're gone
But one day, Uncle Frankie, I'll see you again
Not in a picture but with wings in heaven.

Peace be with you
Love, Frankie
