The database page for William Lennington Brown
William was a single, twenty-nine year old white male. He volunteered to serve in Vietnam with the hopes of sparing another man who might have had a wife and children. He left behind two brothers, a sister, and parents who adored him. He did not know that six months after his death, a son was born to his youngest brother and named after him - William Lennington Brown II. In 1990, William Lennington Brown III came into this world. Although I never met the first Bill, I will continue to try to honor him and his name to my children. I married William II.
