Bobby was a great friend and high school buddy. He was ready to fight for his country and I think of him each day. Even though we were separated (he was US Army and I was US Marines) I still felt close as a buddy. Being in his funeral procession was one of the toughest things I have ever done. I have a rubbing from the Washington Wall of his name from panel 27E on my office wall and I look at it and remember each day. God bless you, Bobby, and just for the record, the Jones girl really did like you better in high school than me or Butch or Terry! Semper Fi, old buddy. I will never forget.
Richard Tate 14 Oct 2005 Bobby, I want to remember you again today on this anniversary of your sacrifice. God rest you, buddy, and Semper Fi.
